How Does It Work?

 We will provide you with the necessary material and insight to construct your own personal life story. A step by step instruction guide, example subjects, topics and thoughtful questions are provided to help you unearth those special times of your life. This combined with your photos you will soon be on your way to making your own "Life Story" DVD.

We then contact you a few days prior to filming to go through your "Life Story", your planned presentation, and to answer any questions you may have. This helps to established a workable plan and provides an opportunity to explain the filming process. Then, on the filming day everyone knows where, when and how the filming will be done.

We aim to make filming as easy as possible for the interviewee. If you would prefer or feel more comfortable to have a member of the family or friend conduct the interview, that's ok. If you are confident you may prefer just to tell your story. We are happy to approach the film in any way you choose. Relax, if you make a mistake, that's ok, mistakes can be edited out later. Pauses and blank spots can also be removed.

Generally, filming is done in our customer’s home, or preferred location. Filming is done using a Professional Broadcast Quality 3cc Digital camera. A 50 min DVD presentation will take approximately three hours to record. Please allow at least a full morning or afternoon for the filming process. We then record your stories one by one. That's it!

 We then edit the film and insert your pictures as overlays. The finished product is set to music of your choice with added effects and transitions. A custom menu is then designed and built for your "Life Story" DVD.

Your DVD will be watermarked until approved. Once you have approved the video, we will  remove the watermark. and issue you with the complete product.
